Anne Lombardi created this site because:

Days pass by so quickly, even though at times five minutes can seem like an eternity. We have no control over the passing of time.  This blog is simply my attempt to stop time for a moment with a photograph and a few reflective words.  To keep a moment preserved so in looking back, or if my memory ever begins to fail, I will have an archive.   A place to hold moments I wish were not passing. Every so often I find myself in a place where I’m thinking “I could stand still here forever.”

I hope with a photo and a few words I can keep the essence of some of these memories I wish had lasted longer than a moment.
